8.2 Media Systems  
Radio

In the Radio screen, push the CONTROL DIAL sideways to open  
the radio menu and select from:  
[2] : 25 mm tweeter.  
Station/Channel List:  
[3] : 100 mm mid-range speaker.  
[4] : 160 mm woofer.  
HD Radio™: Opens the HD Radio Station list menu.  
SiriusXM™ Radio: Opens the Sirius XM Radio Channels  
menu.  
Presets:  
Opens the Preset menu.  
Radio Source:  
Select between HD Radio FM, HD Radio AM and SiriusXM  
Radio wavebands.  
[5] : 25 mm tweeter.  
[6] : 160 mm mid-range woofer.  
[7] : 100 mm surround sound tweeter.  
[8] : 320 mm x 200 mm subwoofer.  
Sound:  
Opens the Sound menu screen (Refer to ’Sound’, page 8.10).  
Playback Controls (SiriusXM only):  
Select to allow playback control to scroll through up to 60  
minutes of previous radio content.

Opens the radio Options menu.

Station/Channel List  
Preset  
Offers a list of available stations for a given radio source. Use the The preset list contains a list of saved radio stations for quick  
rotary control to scroll through the list of stations or use the search access.

Store Current Station As Preset  
Save the current station to the presets lists.  
Add to Presets  
Rotate the CONTROL DIAL to select a slot in the presets list and

Add Highlighted Channel to Smart Favorites (SirusXM™ only)  
Edit Station  
Select to add that radio station to the list of smart favourites.  
When the vehicle ignition is set to on, the infotainment system  
will begin to store up to 60 minutes of radio broadcasts for each  
stored mart favorite channel. When you change radio channel to  
a smart favorite channel can then replay, pause or skip stored  
tracks. If Tune Start is set to on, the song playing on the smart  
favorite channel will begin always from the start.  
Opens the list of preset stations.  
Rotate the CONTROL DIAL to select a slot in the presets list and  
press the CONTROL DIAL sideways to open the below options:  
Move Highlighted Station:  
Moves the highlighted station to another slot in the presets list.  
Rotate the CONTROL DIAL to select a new slot and press  
ENTER to save the preset in the new position.  
Delete Highlighted Station:  
Deletes the highlighted preset station.  
8.4 Media Systems  
Options  
Alert for Artist, Song and Sporting Event:  
HD Radio™  
An alert can be set for your favorite artists, tracks or sporting  
events. Once set, the infotainment system will continuously  
search through all channels, and when a match to one of your  
saved alerts is found, a window will show with any related  
information.  
Display Radio Information (FM only):  
Set whether artist and track information is shown in the  
display screen.  
Track Details:  
Show if additional details are given for the track being played.  
HD Radio:  
Set HD Radio to on or off.  
When an alert is given, a window will be shown with the option  
to switch to the channel or to ignore.  
Add New Alert:  
SiriusXM  
Select to add a new music alert. Select whether the alert is for  
the artist or song that is currently playing.  
Manage Artist and Song Alerts:  
Select to edit the list of saved artist and song alerts.  
Manage SportsFlash and Sport Alerts:  
Select to edit the list of saved SportFlash and sport alerts.  
Activate Artist and Songs Alerts:  
Set artist and song alerts on or off.  
Activate Sports Alerts:  
Alert for Artist, Song and Sporting Event:  
Open the Alert for Artist, Song and Sporting Event menu.  
TuneMix:  
The TuneMix function creates a custom playlist of songs taken  
from the stored music broadcasts from your smart favorite  
channel(s).  
Parental Controls:  
Use to set a 4 digit passcode to lock access to channels with  
adult content.  
Set sports alerts on or off.  
SportsFlash:  
Set if Sportsflashes are on or off.  
Tune Start:  
Select if the smart tune function is set to on or off.

Shows information related to your subscription and SiriusXM

Satellite Radio Registration  
In the Media screen, push the CONTROL DIAL sideways to open  
the media menu and select from:  
Before registering your satellite radio subscription you will need  
the SiriusXM® ID (ESN number) for your receiver. This can be  
found in the Options menu under Service Information along  
with a contact phone number.  
Search:  
Open the media Search menu.  
Playback Control:  
Select to allow playback control. Push the CONTROL DIAL  
left or right to scroll the track or up or down to change tracks.  
Media Sources:  
Select media source device.  
Sound:  
Opens the Sound menu screen (Refer to ’Sound’, page 8.10).  
Fullscreen:  
Select whether content is shown full screen or in the viewing  
area with the additional display information still visible.

8.8 Media Systems  
Apple CarPlay  
Apple CarPlay1 enables an iPhone or other compatible Apple  
Initial Connection  
device to be used in the vehicle infotainment system and can be  
used to make calls, send and receive messages, view navigation  
and listen to music.  
Apple operating system version iOS 8.3 or above is required  
for Apple Carplay to operate. An Internet connection is also  
required for the full range of app functions to operate.  
Not all features of Apple CarPlay are available in all regions.  
For a complete and up to date list of features and region  
availability, refer to the Apple website in your region.  
Apple CarPlay can only be set for the first time when the  
vehicle is parked.  
1. Connect the device to the CarPlay USB port

Once the device has been connected for the first time, you will  
be present with 2 options:  
Only one device can be connected for Apple CarPlay at a  
time.  
Automatic Start:  
Apple CarPlay will start automatically when a compatible  
device is connected to the infotainment system.  
Manual Start:  
Only one navigation route can be active at a time. If a  
navigation route is set in the infotainment system, this will be  
closed when navigation is opened through Apple CarPlay.  
Manual start Apple CarPlay from the infotainment menu.  
SIRI  
Apple CarPlay apps can be voice operated using SIRI. To activate  
SIRI press and hold the  
button.  
Voice control can still be used to operate the vehicle  
infotainment system.

Sound  
The Sound menu gives the below audio options.  
Apple CarPlay Controls  
Equaliser:  
Adjust the Bass, Mid and Treble frequencies.  
Balance and Fader:  
Adjust the Balance (left to right) and Fader (front to rear)  
sound distribution.  
Sound Preset/Focus:1  
Changes the optimisation of the speakers depending on if  
how many occupants are in the vehicle. Select from:  
Driver:  
Sound is optimised for the driver.  
Rear:  
Sound is optimised for the rear passengers.  
All Seats:  
All occupants have identical sound optimisation.  
Surround:  
Information about which apps are supported and which  
phones are compatible is available on Apple's Website  
CarPlay Options  
Disconnect:  
Ends the CarPlay Session.  
Connect Automatically:  
Set if CarPlay automatically starts when a compatible device is  
connected.  
Sound:  
Open the Sound menu (Refer to ’Sound’, page 8.10).  
Device List  
Select the device to connect for Apple CarPlay.  
Sound is optimised to provide immersive audio playback  
suitable for mono, stereo and multi-channel audio  
sources.  
Other Audio Settings:  
Opens the system Audio settings menu (Refer to ’Audio’, page
