approved for roof racks. Never install a
roof rack to your vehicle.
Towbar Carriers
When using a towbar attached carrier,
consider the following:

Do not exceed the maximum vertical
weight on the towball. This is the
weight of the carrier plus the weight of
the load. See Capacities and
Specifications (page 297).

Pay attention to the carrier
manufacturer's specifications.
If you are using a bike carrier, the
maximum number of allowed bikes is
three, with a maximum allowed weight
of 130 lb (60 kg).
•
Load the heaviest item closest to your
vehicle.
