HYBRID VEHICLE OPERATION
Your vehicle has a 48 volt mild hybrid
system. The system is designed to help
reduce fuel consumption and CO2
emissions by using regenerative charging
and stopping the engine when your vehicle
is coasting at a speed less than the engine
stop speed that you have set. See Setting
the Engine Stop Speed (page 211).
Note: Regenerative charging results in a
greater degree of engine braking. Engine
braking further increases following a brake
pedal press. This is normal.
