AUDIO/VIDEO CONTROLS  
There are two levels of infotainment with touch  
screen. The full system has the additional  
features of Stored CD and DVD, TV/My video  
and Rear media. Illustrations show the full  
system.  
2. SETTINGS. Press for direct access to the  
settings menu. When Park Assist is  
specified, the icon is changed and the  
button will turn Park Assist on and off. The  
Settings menu is then accessed via the  
touch screen.  
Sustained exposure to high sound  
levels (greater than 85 decibels) can  
damage your hearing.  
3. HOME MENU. Press for direct access to  
the Home menu.  
1. Press to switch the audio system on/off.  
4. Touch screen.  
Note: The audio system will operate with  
the ignition on or off, but will switch off  
with the ignition. Switch the audio on again  
if required.The system will remain on for  
approximately 10 minutes.  
5. MODE. Press repeatedly to scroll through  
all audio/video sources. When Dual view is  
fitted, the button icon is changed.

screen display.  
Rotate to adjust volume level.  
6. AUDIO VIDEO. Press for direct access to  
the Audio/Video menu.  
Note: If volume is turned to zero while a CD  
is playing, the CD will pause play. Play will  
resume when a greater volume is selected.  
Audio/Video options can include Radio,  
DAB Radio, My music, My video and Rear  
media.

My music consists of CD, Stored CD, MP3,  
USB, iPod and AUX.  
CD, MP3 etc or,  
- to select the previous TV channel on  
the channel list or the previous DVD  
chapter.  
My video includes CD/DVD, USB, iPod and  
TV.  
Long press:  
- to activate radio manual seek mode  
or,  
- to skip backward through current  
audio source track.  
7. CD/DVD loading slot.  
The player will accommodate one disc at a  
time. With the Stored CD player up to 10  
CDs can be uploaded onto the Stored CD  
store.  
With radio manual seek mode activated,  
further short presses will change the  
frequency in single decrements. A further  
long press will scan backward through the  
current waveband until the button is  
released.  
Only CDDA discs can be loaded into the  
Stored CD store.

- to auto seek up the frequency to the  
next radio station,

Do not use irregular shaped discs or  
discs with a scratch protection film or  
self-adhesive labels attached.  
SETTINGS  
To view the settings menu, press the  
SETTINGS button (2). When Park Assist is  
specified, the icon is changed and the button  
will turn Park Assist on and off. The Settings  
menu is then accessed via the touch screen  
Dual format, dual-sided discs (DVD  
Plus, CD-DVD format) are thicker than  
normal discs and consequently  
playback cannot be guaranteed, and  
jamming may occur.  
Each of the audio/video menu screens will  
display a Settings softkey.  
Blue Ray and other high definition video  
format DVD’s will not function in this  
player.  
To adjust the audio settings:  
Touch the + or - soft keys to adjust Bass,  
Treble or Subwoofer levels.  
DivX Media Format (DMF) is not  
supported.  
If surround sound is fitted, touch DPLIIx,  
DTS Neo:6, Meridian, Meridian Trifield  
Surround Sound or select Off to switch  
surround sound off.  
The unit will play compact discs that conform  
to the international Red Book standard audio  
specification.  
To adjust balance and fade:  
The unit will play Compact Disc Digital Audio  
(CDDA) discs, MP3, WMA and AAC files. The  
full infotainment system will also play DVDs.  
From the Audio Settings menu, select  
Balance/Fade.  
The unit will play video files recorded in MPEG4  
DivX or MPEG4 XVid formats.  
The unit will play DivX 3, 4, 5 and 5.2 files.  
Version 6 will also play but this depends upon  
the recording settings.  
Acceptable video media recordable discs  
include; DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD-R,  
CD+R and CD+RW.  
It is recommended that only high quality 12 cm  
(4.7 in.) circular discs are used.  
Touch the arrows to move the sound focal  
point to the desired area of the vehicle.  
Alternatively, drag the focal point cross  
hairs to a new position.  
USB VIDEO  
The vehicle system will play video files stored  
on USB 2.0 devices recorded in MPEG4 DivX 3,  
4, 5, 5.2, 6.0 or MPEG4 XVid only.  
LOADING DISCS  
Do not force the disc into the CD/DVD  
loading slot.
