DUAL VIEW TOUCH SCREEN
DUAL VIEW SELECTION
Dual view touch screen option is a
development of the LCD screen that enables
the driver and front seat passenger to view two
separate display modes.
When the ignition is switched on or the audio
unit is turned on after being turned off, single
view mode will be the default view.
To select dual view, press the dual view hard
key on the fascia surround. See 111,
AUDIO/VIDEO CONTROLS.
Legal restrictions may not allow the driver to
view moving images, as provided by TV and
video formats, while the vehicle is in motion.
Press again to display the dual view Options
menu. From here, a change can be made to the
viewing source or dual view can be cancelled.
HOW IT WORKS
Viewing angles for driver and front seat
passenger are such that neither can view the
full display that the other is viewing. However,
there is an optimum viewing angle of 30
degrees where no cross over of images can be
perceived. From this point, the closer to screen
centre or screen side edges that the viewer
moves to, the more likely cross over of images
is. During normal use of dual view, image cross
over is unlikely.
If TV or a video format source were being
viewed previously, the same source will be
displayed.
Rear seat passengers may be able to see both
views when dual view is active.
