then be stored in the message memory.

Information about display messages  
Display messages appear on the driver's display.  
Rectify the cause of a display message as quickly  
as possible.  
High-priority display messages cannot be hidden.  
The driver's display will show these display mes-  
sages continuously until the cause of the display  
message has been rectified.  
Display messages with graphical symbols are sim-  
plified in the Owner's Manual and may differ from  
the symbols on the driver's display. The driver's  
display shows high-priority display messages in  
red. Certain display messages are accompanied  
by a warning tone.  
Please act in accordance with the display mes-  
sages and follow the additional notes in the Own-  
er's Manual.

If the front passenger airbag is disabled, It will not be deployed in the event of an accident and cannot perform its  
intended protective function.  
A person in the front passenger seat could then, for example, come into contact with the vehicle interior, especially  
if the person is sitting too close to the dashboard.

Be aware of the status of the front passenger airbag both before and during the journey.
