Notes for persons with electronic medical aids
Mercedes-Benz AG cannot, despite carefully
developing vehicle systems, completely rule out
the interaction of vehicle systems with electronic
medical aids such as cardiac pacemakers.
In addition, there are components installed in the
vehicle that, regardless of the operating status of
the vehicle, can generate magnetic ꢁelds on a par
with permanent magnets. These ꢁelds can be
found, for example, in the area around the multi-
media and sound system or also in the area of the
seats, depending on the vehicle equipment.
Mercedes‑Benz recommends a Mercedes‑Benz
service center.
Qualiꢁed specialist workshop
Correct use of the vehicle
An authorized Mercedes-Benz Center is a quali-
ꢁed specialist workshop. It has the necessary
special skills, tools and qualiꢁcations to correctly
carry out the work required on your vehicle. This
particularly applies to safety-relevant works.
If you remove any warning stickers, you or others
could fail to recognize certain dangers. Leave
warning stickers in position.
