with hot engine component parts or the
exhaust system.

vehicle are covered with a decorative foil.
Maintain a distance of at least 27.6 in (70 cm)

Remove dirt immediately, where possible,
whilst avoiding rubbing too hard. There is oth-

R
R
Do not use polish on matte decorative foil.
Polishing will have the eꢂect of shining the
foil-wrapped surface.
Do not treat matte or structured decorative
foils with wax. Permanent stains may occur.
In the event of paintwork damage:
R
Always have paintwork repairs carried out at a
qualiꢀed specialist workshop.
Make sure the radar sensors function
(/ page 170).
R
Scratches, corrosive deposits, areas aꢂected by
corrosion and damage caused by incorrect care
cannot always be completely repaired. In such
cases, visit a qualiꢀed specialist workshop.
You can obtain more information on care and
cleaning products from the manufacturer.
In the case of foil-wrapped surfaces, optical diꢂer-
ences may occur between the surfaces that were
not protected by a decorative foil aꢃer removing a
decorative foil.

Otherwise, driving systems and driving safety
systems may be impaired or not available
