POWER WINDOWS  
The power window switches are located on the  
door panels and will only operate when the ignition  
is in the ON position.  
Move the board as illustrated by lifting and sliding  
the board into the lower position.  
WARNING  
LUGGAGE HOOKS

To fully open the window, push the power window  
switch down to the second detent and release the  
switch. To fully close the window, pull the power  
window switch up to the second detent and release  
the switch. The switch does not have to be held  
during window operation.  
NOTE  
Passenger's window switch  
The auto-reverse function is only available for  
windows with the automatic function.  
If the windows do not close  
automatically

the automatic function, push down or pull up the  
switch in opposite direction.  
If the power window automatic function (closing  
only) does not operate properly, perform the follow-  
ing procedure to initialise the power window sys-  
tem.  
Window timer:  
1. Place the ignition in the ON position.  
The window timer allows the window switch to be  
operated for approximately 45 seconds even if the  
ignition is placed in the OFF position. The window  
timer will be cancelled when the driver’s or front  
passenger’s door is opened or the preset time has  
expired.

2. Close the door.  
3. Open the window completely by operating the  
power window switch.  
The passenger's switch can control its correspond-  
ing window.  
4. Pull the power window switch and hold it to close  
the window, and then hold the switch more than  
3 seconds after the window is closed completely.  
Automatic function  
Auto-reverse function:  
5. Release the power window switch. Operate the  
window by the automatic function to confirm the  
initialisation is complete.  
WARNING  
There is a small distance just before the closed  
position which cannot be detected. Make sure  
that all passengers have their hands, etc. inside  
the vehicle before closing the windows.  
6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other win-  
dows.  
If the power window automatic function does not  
operate properly after performing the procedure  
above, have your vehicle checked by a NISSAN  
dealer or qualified workshop.  
The auto-reverse function enables a window to au-  
tomatically reverse when something is caught in  
the window as it is closing by the automatic func-  
tion. When the control unit detects an obstacle, the  
window will be lowered immediately.
