The integrated key fob (/Intelligent Key) will not  
function under the following conditions:  
CAUTION  
When locking the doors using the integrated  
key fob (/Intelligent Key), be sure not to leave  
the key in the vehicle.  
Always remove the ignition key or Intelligent  
Key, close all windows before operating the  
key fob door lock system.  
When the distance between the integrated key  
fob (/Intelligent Key) and the vehicle is more than  
approximately 5 m (15 ft).  
Ensure that the driver's door is securely closed  
before operating the integrated key fob (/In-  
telligent Key) door lock system for correct op-  
eration of the system.  
When the integrated key fob (/Intelligent Key)  
battery is discharged.

Integrated key fob  
All doors can be locked or unlocked from the out-

Super Lock system equipped models:  
Failure to follow the precautions below may lead

Lock system activation is always conducted

Do not strike the integrated key fob (/Intelli-  
gent Key) sharply against another object.  
Do not place the integrated key fob (/Intelli-  
gent Key) for an extended period in an area  
where temperatures exceed 60°C (140°F).  
When the vehicle is occupied, never super lock

the doors. Doing so will trap the occupants,  
since the Super Lock system prevents the  
doors from being opened from the inside of  
the vehicle.  
Intelligent Key (where fitted)  
Lock button  
If an integrated key fob (/Intelligent Key) is lost or  
stolen, NISSAN recommends erasing the ID code of  
that integrated key fob (/Intelligent Key) from the  
vehicle. This may prevent the unauthorised use of  
the integrated key fob (/Intelligent Key) to unlock  
the vehicle. For information regarding the erasing  
procedure, contact a NISSAN dealer or qualified  
workshop.  
Unlock button  
The remote keyless entry system can operate all  
door locks (including the tailgate) using the inte-  
grated key fob (/Intelligent Key). The integrated key  
fob (/Intelligent Key) can operate at a distance of  
approximately 5 m (15 ft) from the vehicle (the effec-  
tive distance depends upon the conditions around  
the vehicle and the state of the key fob battery).  
As many as 4 remote controllers can be used with  
Only super lock by double-pressing the inte-  
grated key fob “LOCK” button when there is a  
clear view of the vehicle.This is to prevent any-  
body from being trapped inside the vehicle  
through the Super Lock system activation.

Selective door unlock mode:  
KEY FOB OPERATION FAILURE  
Selective door unlock mode allows the remote un-  
locking of only the driver's door to prevent an at-  
tacker from entering the vehicle via an unlocked  
passenger door.  
The key fob may not work properly if:  
The key fob battery is low.

replacement” in the “8. Maintenance and  
do-it-yourself” section for key fob battery  
replacement instructions and the required bat-  
tery type.  
USING THE REMOTE KEYLESS  
ENTRY SYSTEM  
1. Push the  
button.  
The driver’s door unlocks.

Locking the doors  
Hazard indicator lights flash twice quickly.  
1. Place the ignition in the LOCK position and make  
sure you have the integrated key fob (/Intelligent  
Key) with you when exiting the vehicle.  
The locking/unlocking system has been used  
continuously.  
2. Open the driver's door.  
3. Push the button again (if necessary):  
All doors and the tailgate will be unlocked.  
Hazard indicator lights flash twice slowly.  
An anti lock-abuse system prevents the lock mo-  
tors from overheating and disables the key fob  
locking operation for a short period of time if the  
system is used continuously.  
2. Close all doors (including the backdoor) and win-  
dows.  
3. Push the  
button.  
NOTE  
The door handle is being pulled while the key  
fob is being operated.  
All the doors and the backdoor will lock.

Switching between convenience and selective  
door lock mode:

4. Operate the door handles to confirm that the  
doors have been securely locked.  
NOTE

If the  
button is pushed with all the doors  
locked, the direction indicators will flash once to re-  
mind you that the doors are already locked.  
Auto-relock (where fitted):  
An auto-relock function will operate a short period  
after a full or partial unlock, if no further user action  
is taken.The auto-relock will be cancelled if any door  
is opened or the key is inserted into the ignition.

Unlocking the doors  
Convenience door unlock mode:  
As default, the door unlock (convenience) mode is  
set to unlock all the doors and the tailgate with one  
push on the  
button.  
Push the
