VARIABLE VOLTAGE CONTROL SYSTEM FUSES  
The variable voltage control system measures

If a type fuse is used to replace a type fuse,

pocket as shown in the illustration. This will not  
affect the performance of the fuse. Make sure  
the fuse is installed in the fuse box securely.

PASSENGER COMPARTMENT  
Extended storage fuse switch (if equipped)

To reduce battery drain, the extended storage  
fuse switch comes from the factory switched  
off. Prior to delivery of your vehicle, the switch is  
pushed in (switched on) and should always  
remain on.  
CAUTION:  
Never use  
a fuse of a higher or lower  
amperage rating than that specified on the  
fuse box cover. This could damage the  
electrical system or cause a fire.  
For models with color display and dot matrix  
display:  
If any electrical equipment does not operate,  
check for an open fuse.  
If the extended storage fuse switch is not  
pushed in (switched on), the “SHIPPING MODE  
ON, PUSH STORAGE FUSE” warning may appear  
on the vehicle information display. See “Vehicle  
information display (Type A (model with color  
display))” (P.2-26) or “Vehicle information display  
(Type B (model with dot matrix display))” (P.2-  
35).

bulbs are replaced. When aiming adjustment is  
necessary, contact a NISSAN dealer.  
The halogen headlight is a semi-sealed beam  
type which uses replaceable headlight (halo-  
gen) bulbs. They can be replaced from inside  
the engine compartment without removing the  
headlight assembly.  
CAUTION:  
High-pressure halogen gas is sealed inside  
the bulb. The bulb may break if the glass  
envelope is scratched or the bulb is dropped.
