Steering column lock not unlocked
Fold up the electrically folding mirrors automati-
cally

Message regarding the necessary steering
wheel movement
The mirrors fold in when the vehicle is locked and
fold back in when the function is activated.
Move the steering wheel slightly back and forth.
If the steering does not unlock, stop the vehicle
and seek the help of a specialist garage.
Locking of the vehicle is not indicated by the fact
that the mirrors fold in. Locking of the vehicle is indi-
cated by the turn signal lights flashing.

Set mirror surfaces synchronously
When adjusting the mirror surface of the driver's
mirror, the mirror surface of the front passenger's
mirror is adjusted at the same time if this function is
activated.

Darkening of the mirror is automatically controlled
through the sensors in the mirror once the engine is
started.

CAUTION
Risk of accident!
A glowing display e.g. a mobile phone or navigation
device may affect the function of the automatic mir-
ror darkening.
The mirror surface of the passenger mirror takes in
the memory of the driver's seat » page 37 or the re-
mote key » page 25 stored position to improve visi-
bility when reversing.
Do not mount these devices near the mirror.

Depending on the equipment, the mirrors can be fol-
ded manually or electrically.
The mirror automatically resumes the home position
when driving forward at speeds above 15 km/h or af-
ter the ignition is switched off.

If the electrically foldable mirror is swung out due
to external influences (e.g. due to an impact when
