At temperatures below -10°C, start the vehicle  
with the selector lever in the position.  
Stopping the engine  
Secure the vehicle with the parking brake.  
Press the starter button.

Steering lock hazard!  
During a journey with the engine stopped, the igni-  
tion must always be switched on.  
NOTICE  
Risk of engine overheating!  
Do not switch the engine off immediately at the  
end of your journey after the engine has been run-  
ning at high loads. Leave it to run at an idling speed  
for about 1 minute.
